The development in the mapping world is very fast. Both Microsoft and Google has Street level imagery (Street View and Street Side) but navigating this content can be a little difficult.
However Microsoft has now invented a new navigation concept – Street Slide
About Streetslide
With Street Slide, a user can now zoom out, get a panorama view of the street, consisting of the multiple images used in the Street Side view.
It’s possible to pan fast in these images, giving a feeling of driving down the street – pretty cool.
