After you have created custom tabs on your Facebook page, you might want to change the default Facebook setting, that controls which of the available tabs on your page that’s initially displayed to your visitors.
The good news is, that although this important functionality is hidden a little too good according to my taste, changing the default tab is very easy in Facebook.
Changing default tab in Facebook
To change default tab in Facebook, simply go to the page that you administrates and click on the “”Edit Page” link in the left column.
Next, click “Edit” under “Wall settings”
Under “Wall settings”, unfold the menu “Default Landing Tab for Everyone Else”.
When this menu is unfolded, you can select which of the available tabe for your Facebook page that should be displayed by default when someone visits your page.
And then you’re done.
If you want to test how it works, try accessing your page when you’re logged in as a another user.
The combination of custom tabs, and customized start page in Facebook can be a quick and powerful way of lifting your Facebook presence to a new level.
The best thing is that you can complete both tasks within 30 minutes.
